About Joshua Christian, MD
Dr. Joshua Christian hails from West Michigan, famous for its great sandy beaches and snowy winters. He studied medicine in Detroit before moving to the mountains of WNC for his family medicine training at MAHEC in Hendersonville, NC. He fell in love with the mountains and made the decision to stay permanently, and shortly thereafter found the opportunity to join the team here at NBFM.
When he's not working, you'll find him hanging out with his wife and their mini poodle, Duke, taking care of their chickens, cooking up something tasty, reading, or traveling. Dr. Christian loves finding adventures with his family, whatever the form.
Dr. Chrisitan has found WNC to be a melting pot of transplants like himself, the south and Appalachia, and enjoys connecting with folks from all over the region. He enjoys getting to know his patients personally, helping them understand their health better, and guiding them to live their best lives.
