Dr. Pokallus grew up a part of a large family on a farm in Northern Wyoming. She moved to Laramie, Wyoming to attend the University of Wyoming. Here she met her husband, Logan, and obtained her PharmD. She loves people and desires to see them live well, achieve their goals, and prevent complications. She considers her self incredibly fortunate to have been able to continue her education in Asheville, North Carolina where pharmacists are able to practice at the top of their license through collaborative drug therapy agreements with physicians. She has been working to build clinical pharmacy services at North Buncombe Family Medicine (NBFM) since August 2016. She performs annual wellness visits and anticoagulation management; she is also able to help manage other chronic conditions.
